From April to November of 2015, I was working on Alma but for some reason, burned out on it. So I decided to set it aside for a while and do something simple. I bought this kit of Lark back in 2001. At some point, I built the framing jig but that was as far as I got. So I decided I would resurrect it and see if I couldn't finish it this time. I had to re-make the stem piece because I wasn't happy with the one I'd done before. The keel, transom, and chines were fine, so I got all of that glued up this morning.

Working steadily on construction all week. The boat is planked. The frames and hanging knees are on and the inside is primed. I need to make a decision now what color I intend to paint the boat. It will probably be a light gray on the inside and white outside and the thwarts and floor boards may be a light green. Still thinking it over though.

I have the interior painted and the floorboards down. Centerboard and CB trunk are finished and installed as well. Decided to stick with gray for the floorboards and white for the interior as the instructions suggest.

Not a lot of progress in the past month. Just haven't been in tbe mood to work on the boat. However, I have the hull finished now (see photo above).
